It’s more likely his comeback will take place in the TV tower instead of between the ropes. That’s what Brandel Chamblee, the outspoken lead analyst for Golf Channel and occasional Tiger foe, predicts. Yes, Tiger and his handlers have treated the media with disdain for 20 years, but if the injury-plagued, 41-year old superstar is washed up from a competitive standpoint, the broadcast booth makes sense, according to Chamblee, who’ll serve as a key member of NBC Sports/Golf Channel’s British Open coverage this week. Lanny (Wadkins), Curtis (Strange), Davis Love (III), I’ve see him up in the booth,” Chamblee said. “Tiger is a thoughtful guy, he really is. He can talk golf swings with the best of them.
