Police video shows the children sitting alone at the bus stop, shivering and crying. “(The child) just said his daddy left him to go get more beers,” a witness told police, KRQE reported. After a fight ensued, Manzanares took the children to a bus stop and walked away, according to the arrest report. “He said, ‘Where’s my beer?’ and he just took off,” Manzanares’ daughter said, according to the police report. Manzanares returned and told police he was around the corner “meeting a friend,” KRQE reported. He was arrested and charged with “intentionally placing a child in a situation where the life of a child is endangered,” according to the arrest report.
