PHOTO: Google Maps Archant A collapsed bridge has resulted in emergency roadworks for two weeks. Works costing £40,000 are due to start on Monday in the village of Burston, near Diss on the accident damaged parapet wall on Shimpling Bridge.. Diss Town Council said in a public notice that there will be a diversion via Shelfanger Road (B1077) with three way traffic lights at its junction with Sunnyside. The works are expected to last two weeks. Norfolk County Council has apologised for any inconvenience. Updates to follow.
