Giovanna Fletcher’s husband Tom Fletcher decided to try on the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here crown as the reigning champion slept.

Just days after Giovanna was crowned winner of the ITV show, the podcast host was trying to catch up on some sleep when her husband sensed an opportunity.

Taking to social media, McFly star Tom shared a cheeky selfie where he modelled the iconic I’m A Celebrity crown.

In the snap, that Tom shared with his two million Instagram followers, the musician grinned at the camera while fashioning the floral crown and holding up the I’m A Celebrity sceptre.

In the background, Tom and Giovanna’s son was pictured giggling at the entertaining moment.

At the same time, an exhausted Giovanna snoozed on an enormous mustard coloured sofa.

“Snooze you lose @mrsgifletcher ,” Tom joked in the caption.

Tom and Giovanna’s fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts on his latest post.

“Buzz knows u shouldn’t touch her crown,” wrote one fan.

“Oh bless her. She must be exhausted xx” added another.

A third wrote: “She looks so run down bless her! she done well, love you guys all so much, sending love.”

A fourth teased that it might be Tom’s turn next, writing: “Next year ???”

Giovanna’s supportive husband also made sure that all their neighbours knew who won this year’s show when he came up with an innovative Christmas decoration.

Tom shared another picture of the front door of their home adorned with a stunning array of baubles.

The centre piece is actually the re-purposed I’m A Celebrity crown transformed into a fitting Christmas wreath for the black front door.

On Friday, Giovanna beat Vernon Kay and Jordan North to the crown when was announced as the winner of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2020.

Since the final, Giovanna has been reunited with her family in emotional scenes that she shared on Instagram.

The doting mum of three has not had any contact with Buddy, six, Buzz, four and two-year-old Max, who she shares with her husband Tom while she was on the show.

Giovanna had also been kept apart from them for weeks before the show as she had to self-isolate before the series began.

On Saturday, Giovanna returned home to lots of excited cuddles from her boys.

She also wrote on Instagram: “Mumma Gi here and I’m thrilled to say I’m home with my boys and Tom and soaking up all the kisses and cuddles I’ve missed.”
