Piers Morgan slams Kanye West as racist, ‘horribly homophobic’ and ‘pro-Hitler’

Piers Morgan has said Kanye West is “revelling in causing maximum offence” as he slammed the rapper following his latest Twitter ban.

The former Good Morning Britain host, who ripped into Meghan and Harry following the release of their documentary teaser, claimed he had a “lengthy text exchange” with the rapper legally known as Ye after he was banned from Twitter.

Gold Digger hitmaker Kanye, 45, was banned from Twitter in the early hours of Friday morning UK time after posting a string of offensive tweets including one which included an image that appeared to combine the swastika and the Star of David.

Twitter owner Elon Musk, who restored Ye’s account just under two weeks ago, revealed he had suspended Kanye’s account after one fan begged the Tesla CEO to “fix Kanye”.

Elon, 51, wrote in response to the fan: “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

Now GB News host Piers, who interviewed Kanye about his anti-Semitic tweets which saw him banned earlier this year, has weighed in.

Piers shared a tweet to reveal he had spoken to Ye over text after the ban.

The journalist wrote: “I had a lengthy text exchange with Kanye 'Ye' West the other day which indicated he's now revelling in causing maximum offence.

“He wasn't just racist, and anti-Semitic, but horribly homophobic too – and his latest pro-Hitler rant is sadly more evidence he's lost the plot.”

Hours before Kanye’s shocking tweets – in which he also accused ex Kim Kardashian of cheating – the Yeezus star sparked backlash after making a series of vile remarks during an interview with US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

In the interview Kanye had his face covered in a black balaclava and praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

A masked Kanye said: “I see good things about Hitler… every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.

“This guy invented highways, invented the very microphone that I use a musician, you can’t say out lous that this person ever did anything good, and I’m done with that.

“I’m done with the classification, every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. I like Hitler,” he added.

Meanwhile, the parent company of social media platform Parler revealed Ye wouldn’t be buying the platform after coming to a “mutual agreement”.

Parlement Technologies said the decision was made “in the interest of both parties in mid-November”.

Earlier this year Ye was banned from Twitter for making anti-Semitic remarks. The tweet also saw him lose out on a series of lucrative deals including his partnership with Adidas.

In a statement addressing Kanye’s recent statements and behaviour in October, Adidas confirmed the termination of their working relationship with Kanye and will take a €250 million ($246.5 million) hit to net income in the current fiscal year.
