THE best hotel bars in the world have been revealed - with six of them found in London. Of the 44 winners, the well-known Shangri-La Hotel and The Dorchester both featured. Also on the list in the UK was The Connaught, The Langham, The Savoy and Hotel 41. The winning list, revealed by Forbes, looked across 13 countries at both the creativity and variety of drinks, as well as the best service, snacks and interior. The US also came out on top with 11 winners, while France, Italy and the UAE also featured, among others. Updated: March 21, 2013 Though I’ve heard mixed reviews about London, for me it was nothing short of a very drizzly heaven. After months of feeling like I have no personality (my poor French reduces me to a shy but sweet, whimpering version of myself), it was such a blessing to socialize in my native language.
