Ukrainian fighters’ joy as they blow up one of Russia’s deadly vacuum bomb launchers in enormous explosion
Ukrainian fighters were overjoyed after they blew up one of Russia's deadly vacuum bomb launchers in an enormous explosion. Vladimir Putin 's war effort was once again damaged as Volodymyr Zelensky 's troops destroyed another piece of Moscow's military equipment. The Ukrainian 80th Air Assault Brigade hit a TZM-T (TOS-1 reloading vehicle) with a Stugna-P ATGM, a Ukrainian anti-tank guided missile. Footage shows missiles being fired at a Russian TOS-1 launcher on the side of a hill before the thermobaric missile launcher explodes with a massive ball of fire and thick smoke. Thermobaric missiles are defined by their type of explosion, which sucks in surrounding air to prompt a high-temperature explosion, often called vacuum bombs. I drove the Ferrari Roma – a ‘cheaper’ supercar with a mysterious red dial, radar and genius ‘magnet juice’
ROME is beautiful. In the ancient parts of the city, there’s so much going on that you spend most of the time gawking in awe. Fittingly, the Ferrari Roma is about the same. You could spend half an hour just staring at it, appreciating every last detail – only to forget that it’s actually for driving. Thankfully, I got a chance to spend a weekend with a Roma (in gorgeous blue) and – after a good gawp – I actually hit the road. As you’d expect, it’s monstrously fast. It’s powered by a 3855cc V8 engine that manages a top speed of 199mph. Misery for drivers as ULEZ could be EXTENDED even further and cover whole of London under new plans
DRIVERS in London face fresh misery after it was revealed the city's much-loathed Ultra Low Emission Zone could soon be extended to every street. Mayor Sadiq Khan has declared war on motorists , insisting the capital needs to charge whopping fees so it hits climate-change targets. Under his plans, the scheme's boundary could be extended from the North and South Circular Roads to the whole of Greater London from August 29 next year. Drivers who don't comply with minimum emissions standards are charged a daily fee of £12.50 for entering the zone. That's separate from the £15 congestion charge , which must also be paid daily for vehicles travelling through the city centre. Analysis by the PA news agency found that more than 3.5million more people will live within the zone if it is expanded as planned. Read more on Motors RIGHT LIGHT? Ben Hunt: McLaren’s decision to join Formula E could be a masterstroke… both on and off the track
McLAREN’S decision to join Formula E could prove to be a masterstroke — both on the track and in the boardroom. The legendary Formula One team confirmed last week that they will join the series next season in time for the Gen3 era — the third generation of the all-electric racing car that promises to give the championship a boost. Gen3 is said to be the quickest electric racing car in the world, with a top speed of more than 200mph. Now, I’ve always been a supporter of FE since its debut in 2014. It is not F1, neither does it want to be F1. It is a world championship event in its own right. I can see the benefit of manufacturers competing in the environmentally-friendly series — and, subsequently, it has attracted big sponsors, too. Plus, I can also appreciate the excitement of pop-up events in city centres, where it is possible to watch qualifying, go for a pint in a pub and then return to watch the race.
