Google Street View car captures ‘axe murder’ on UK street but there’s an explanation
Google's camera car seemingly caught two 'axe-wielding murderers bludgeoning a man to death' in broad daylight on a UK street. It shows the 'killers' braced to strike again as their 'victim' lies spread-eagle on the ground in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. But all is not as it seems, reports StokeonTrentLive. The bizarre scene was actually posed by quick-thinking pranksters from Blythe Bridge-based JMZ Ltd, who jumped into position after spotting the distinctive Google liveried car with its camera poking out of the roof. The image - captured in Elburton Road just a short distance from Fenton Methodist Church in 2014 - has resurfaced again after being shared on social media. Anyone wanting to check it out for themselves can still still see the 'crime scene' on Google Street View. Paul Ingle, the boss of JMZ Ltd which specialises in driveways, paving and patios, was surprised to learn the photo was doing the rounds again on social media.
