But dentists have warned that you might actually be cleaning your teeth wrong , increasing your risk of potentially life-threatening illness. While most people know they need to brush their nashers twice a day in order to avoid poor oral hygiene, one expert said many forget to floss . Guidance from the NHS states that flossing is important as it can remove bits of food from between your teeth , preventing gum disease . Dr Sameer Patel explained that flossing also removes plaque from below the gumline, which can erode tooth enamel and cause tartar. Storms spreading down from the mountains may reach metro Denver Wednesday morning, with any snow likely turning to rain as the high temperature approaches 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Denver residents can expect breezy conditions and little or no snow accumulation, the weather service said. Wednesday night, rain showers were expected before 9 pm with possible snow before midnight as temperatures decrease to 31 degrees. On Thursday and Friday morning, mostly sunny conditions with highs around 53 degrees were expected. But elsewhere around Colorado Wednesday the weather service forecasters saw multiple extreme weather possibilities. Winter storm warnings covered northwestern Colorado and the central mountains west of Buena Vista and advisories were posted for areas west of metro Denver. LOTS of people are guilty of deliberately "popping" or "cracking" their neck after a long day or while stretching out at work. However, this habit can have some serious implications - and could even trigger a stroke. There's been some shocking cases including Josh Hader, 28, who nearly lost his life after he tore an artery from cracking his neck - which triggered a stroke. Similarly, paramedic Natalie Kunicki, 23, was left paralysed after cracking her neck and causing a stroke. Speaking after her ordeal, she said: "I'm a paramedic and I didn't ring 999 for 10 minutes because I thought it was too unlikely it would be a stroke when I should have known much better."
