Brian Laundrie’s dad RETURNS to scene where son’s remains found after parents told they’ll face jury over Gabby’s death
BRIAN Laundrie's dad returned to the scene where his son's skeletal remains were found last October - just a day after a judge ruled the family will face a jury over Gabby Petito's death. Exclusive photos obtained by The Sun show Christopher Laundrie, 62, with a hiking stick in hand as he wandered around Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park on Friday morning. The 62-year-old was spotted wearing a gray t-shirt, khaki shorts, sunglasses, and a green baseball cap during his morning hike as he mounted onto his red Dodge pick-up truck and drove off. The location is where Chris and Roberta found a white bag filled with their son's belongings last October after joining police in the search for their son. Moments later, footage captured Chris and Roberta talking with the officer when Brian's dad appeared to shed a tear after being told, "I think we found something." … [Read more...] about Brian Laundrie’s dad RETURNS to scene where son’s remains found after parents told they’ll face jury over Gabby’s death
Flying bail hits Aussie cricketer in the nuts as teammates roar with laughter
David Warner suffered a very unfortunate injury as Australia beat Sri Lanka in their fastest Test victory in 20 years. Batsman Warner was stood at leg slip when Travis Head clean bowled Jeffrey Vandersay. The 35-year-old kept his eyes on the ball as he tried to catch it anyway - which proved to be an error of judgement. While the ball flew towards his hands, the dislodged bail headed further south - into his nether regions, to be exact. He crumpled into a heap, unable to celebrate the wicket while his team-mates burst out laughing. But he did later see the funny side. READ MORE: Amateur footballer defies physics with free-kick so good it left ball stuck in top corner "Oh dear, well bowled Heady but my Jatz cracker," Warner tweeted post-match. He was able to dust himself down after the incident to bat his side to victory. Australia had started the third day on 313-8 before being bowled out for 321. But they were soon back at the crease after Sri Lanka added just 113 to … [Read more...] about Flying bail hits Aussie cricketer in the nuts as teammates roar with laughter
Sonny Barger and the Hells Angels: Five Ways the Outlaw Motorcycle Club Left Tire Tracks on Pop Culture
Click here to read the full article. With the death this week of Ralph “Sonny” Barger, national president of famed motorcycle club the Hells Angels , a piece of vibrant American pop culture history recedes farther into the past. It’s hard to appreciate today, but when Barger founded the Oakland chapter in 1957, the mythology of the outlaw biker had already been emblazoned on the national consciousness through the Hells Angels’ impact on fashion, movies and music, as a symbol of rebellion. Barger’s death on June 29 at the age of 83 made international headlines because of that reach. Barger was the face of the Hells Angels for decades, but the origin story of the Hells Angels began nearly a decade before when the club was founded in Fontana, Calif., in 1948. The mythos of the rebel clad in black leather astride their prized “hogs,” as their often-chopped Harley-Davidson motorcycles are known, is now entrenched in the public’s imagination. That legacy lives on every time a radio … [Read more...] about Sonny Barger and the Hells Angels: Five Ways the Outlaw Motorcycle Club Left Tire Tracks on Pop Culture
