A WEATHER map has revealed exactly when snow will hit the UK - as Brits face frost and fog. Graphs from WXCharts show parts of western Scotland and eastern Northern Ireland could be hit with the white stuff next week. The map's forecast shows snow moving across the north before it hits Scotland on February 7. Snow in Scotland has also been forecast by the Met Office in its long range forecast for February 6 to 15. In its predictions for next week, the Met Office says there will be "a small chance of very cold conditions and snow showers moving in from the east.” It added that beforehand: "For many, there should be plenty of mostly dry if rather cold weather, likely lasting a few days, with overnight frost and perhaps some fog patches in the south." Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen sparks concern with dangerous snow and freezing temperatures
Amanda Owen's fans have told the television personality to stay safe as the UK faces extremely cold temperatures and even freak snow storms. It's believed that a four-inch blizzard is set to hit parts of the UK and will cause "injuries" and delays after the national weather agency issued a string of warnings. Our Yorkshire Farm star kept fans updated as she went about her business on her huge farm, despite some parts of the country seeing temperatures as low as -8C. The Met Office have issued a warning for heavy snow across parts of England, including the North, Midlands and central areas of the country. Met Office says rain storm ‘lasting 24 hours’ will batter UK with four inches falling
The Met Office has confirmed that an immense rainstorm is set to take hold of the UK for 24 hours. The latter weeks of January and the beginning of February has been witness to freezing cold temperatures and snow storms in just some of the unsettled weather conditions the UK has experienced of late. The forecaster at the national weather service had warned that following the recent dip in temperatures "changeable weather conditions are likely to bring rainfall, heavy at times, to the north and west". Met Office issues sixteen flood warnings as Brits showered with heavy rainfall
The Environment Agency has issued 16 flood alerts in preparation of a heavy rainstorm set to take hold of Britain in the coming days. Warnings for local groundwater flooding have been imposed in Southern parts of England. Disruption to travel is expected to occur, while the likes of land, roads and some properties are to experience some flooding. Two teens seriously injured in ‘gas explosion’ at house as three others rushed to hospital
TWO teenagers are seriously injured following a suspected gas explosion at a house in South Wales. A woman, 18, and a 19-year-old man were rushed to hospital with burns after the blast in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, last night. Three others were also taken to A&E, WalesOnline reports. All five were in the property at the time, the Health and Safety Executive said. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. Emergency services raced to Glanmor Gardens at around 10.30pm on February 1. Naga City, Camarines Sur map LEGAZPI CITY — A suspected drug trader was killed in a buy-bust operation in Naga City, Camarines Sur province on Wednesday night. In a report, Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, spokesperson for Naga City police, said suspect Angelo Fernandez sold a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) for P15,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay Concepcion Pequena at 10:34 p.m. But when the suspect sensed that he was transacting with an undercover agent, he drew his caliber .45 pistol and fired twice at responding police officers, prompting the authorities to retaliate. Fernandez sustained gunshot wounds that caused his death. A total of 50 grams of shabu were recovered from the slain suspect.
