Doctors have shared their tips for conquering brain fog - from spending more time outdoors to learning a musical instrument. Dr Amir Khan and Dr Anisha Patel discussed the symptoms of brain fog on Lorraine this morning, which can include slower thought processes, difficulty concentrating and forgetfulness. According to Dr Anisha, a GP and women's health expert, many over-60-year-olds will suffer from brain fog as a result of dementia or heart problems. MORE freezing fog could bring dangerous driving conditions tomorrow as the cold snap continues. The haze could be so dense in some areas that visibility falls to below 100 metres, the Met Office has warned. Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for fog for parts of England, including the South East, East Anglia, Midlands and Yorkshire. It is in force from 2am until at least 11am on Sunday and urges anyone travelling to take extra care. Delays on roads and train lines are "probable", while untreated surfaces could become slippery. Flights could also be held up or cancelled, it is feared. Freezing fog warning for commuters on Monday as ‘polar vortex’ heads for UK

Commuters have been warned to be careful as freezing fog may cause delays and difficult driving conditions on Monday. The Met Office said areas of freezing fog are expected to develop on Sunday night across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, the East of England and London. The haze will be so thick that visibility could be as low as 50 to 100 metres in a few areas, forecasters said. In a few areas, untreated surfaces could turn icy, leading to slower journey times, with delays to bus and train services possible. The Met Office added there is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights due to freezing fog. Brits are set for more than 10 inches of snow and -10C temperatures today while there is also a warning for freezing fog. Warmer air will be sweeping in over the weekend that will affect the north west of the UK but it will still feel bitterly cold. And maps from WXCharts show that more than 10 inches of snow could still fall in the west of Scotland on Saturday morning while there will also be one or two inches across the west of the UK. Freezing fog could bring dangerous driving conditions on Saturday morning which could be so dense that visibility drops to below 100 metres in some places, the Met Office said. TWO people have died and 12 were injured following a horror crash on the M40 this morning. Emergency services - including an air ambulance - charged to the scene between junctions four and five at around 8.15am, as Britain was gripped by freezing fog. Two people were sadly pronounced dead following the serious collision near High Wycombe, Berks. Two others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries while ten people sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics. Some of the ten injured were also taken to hospital. The road was closed in both directions following the horror, but the northbound carriageway later reopened at around 11.30am. Heathrow Airport has been thrown into chaos as a " freezing fog " and snowy conditions have seen more than 80 flights grounded. Over 12,000 British Airways passengers are facing cancellations at the London-based airport with over 80 BA flights grounded due to severe cold. Temperatures of -8C were reported from the ground, with flights to Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Paris, Stockholm and Milan all facing swift cancellations amid the weather troubles. Another freezing fog warning from the Met Office has brought further travel chaos fears across the UK. The yellow warning has been issued from 2am to 11am tomorrow and covers much of eastern England. However, the weather agency says the severe conditions could cause major delays from tonight. It comes as Britain battles through a winter cold snap which has seen temperatures plummet lower than -10C in recent days and heavy snow fall in parts. Snow and ice warnings have already been issued earlier this week - including a rare amber one - due to the ongoing Arctic conditions. A separate yellow warning for freezing remained in place until 11am today for parts of England, with freezing fog already making driving conditions difficult this morning.
