NASA’s £41bn mega rocket launching this month in bid to put humans back on Moon

NASA is set to launch its new £41.35billlion mega-rocket this month as the US space agency bids to get humans back on the Moon . Seventeen years of work have gone into the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and the Orion spaceship, with the former set to take the latter on a trip around the Moon on August 29. The gigantic SLS rocket is 23 storeys tall and is powered by four car-sized engines and two rocket boosters. Strapped on top of the SLS, the Orion will first complete an unmanned mission around the Moon. UK beaches on alert as Brits stung by tiny but ‘excruciatingly painful’ fish

British beachgoers have been put on high alert after a venomous fish has been spotted on UK shores. The warning has come from the RNLI, who have had several reports of people being stung by a highly dangerous fish during visits to Filey in North Yorkshire Yorkshire. And after an investigation, it emerged that the fish in question was the Weever fish – which hides in the sand. UK heatwave ends as Met Office issues thunderstorm warning as rain sparks flood fears

Warnings for widespread thunderstorms in the UK has been earmarked for Monday and Tuesday, as the Met Office believe disruption could be possible. Monday's thunderstorm warning covers most of the UK while the warning for Tuesday, covers large parts of just England, however, the likes of the South East, London, Norfolk and Suffolk, and Wales have been excluded from the warning, the Daily Mirror reported . According to the Met Office, some places are "likely to see thunderstorms with torrential rain" with sudden flooding to properties and roads could be a possibility. A couple sold their house on Instagram to buy an abandoned caravan park for £90,000 in a bid to live mortgage free. Jon and Emilie James, both 33, fell in the love with the old caravan park near Llanelli, Wales and sold up their first home and belongings for £132,000. After they'd paid off their mortgage they had just £79,000 left and used another £11,000 in savings to pay for the caravan park – leaving them with just £500 in the bank. A teenage hitman from Mexico's most dangerous drug cartel was caught carrying dismembered body parts after being pulled over by police. The Civil Guard and the Municipal Police in Morelia, Michoacán, stopped two men on motorbikes on Friday morning (August 12) after they were seen circulating up and down a road.
