A professor explained why our flatulence can differ in 'temperature' and shared the reason behind why trumps might sound different. READ MORE: 'I'm proud to flaunt my stoma bag but TikTok keeps labelling my videos as sexual' While passing wind is one of the more taboo subjects, getting well acquainted with your farts is rather important. As a typical person breaks wind between five and 15 times a day, you're bound to have a wide range of squeaks and sounds coming from your bottom. And the temperature of your pop-off is one to keep an eye on. Lisa Ganjhu, DO, clinical associate professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at NYU Langone Health, noted that farts can feel ‘hot’ as they exit the body. Microsoft Hololens 2 MIT Upgrade Lets You See Through Walls
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology installed a program in a Microsoft Hololens 2 so that it could give people “x-ray vision.” You know, one of Superman’s abilities (sort of)! As a result, the technology could expand the real-life applications of augmented reality. For example, it could help retailers locate warehouse goods quickly. How does the Microsoft Hololens 2 use “x-ray vision?” Photo Credit: mixed-news.com The MIT researchers named their technology X-AR, which uses wireless signals and computer vision to let people see things invisible to the naked eye. The global game of ChessGo
Games are imitations of real life. They teach players how to think how the other would act, with better players learning to appreciate how the other player reads them. As all games are defined by rules, two-player games are actually far simpler than multiplayer games. That is exactly where the global game has shifted, from a unipolar single dominant player who determines the rules-based order, to one in which the others want voice and power to change the rules. The kiddie’s game of checkers teaches players to think linearly, but smart players quickly learn that if you offer the other side a quick win and he takes it, you crush him by anticipating several moves ahead of him. The game of chess is much more complicated, with pieces that have different power and can be promoted (pawn to become queen). The moves are much more complicated, with psychology and stamina key to who wins. The game of Go, popular in the East, has only black or white pieces, but is far more complex, because … [Read more...] about The global game of ChessGo
