CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Investigators now believe a 5-year-old New Hampshire girl who disappeared in 2019 was murdered, authorities said Thursday. The monthslong search for Harmony Montgomery, who was only reported missing last year, has become a homicide investigation, Attorney General John Formella said at a news conference Thursday. Authorities believe she was killed in Manchester in early December 2019. Her case has prompted widespread outpouring of support around the state, including several vigils aimed at raising awareness of her case. Several Facebook groups also were created aimed at sharing news on her case. “At this point while Harmony’s remains have not been located, we do have multiple sources of investigative information including just recently confirmed biological evidence that has led us to this difficult and tragic decision,” Formella said. KATE Middleton made a little girl’s day by writing a letter to her after she invited Prince George to her birthday party. The young girl had asked several months ago if the nine-year-old royal would be able to come to her sixth birthday celebrations. While Kate and the rest of the royal family receive a large volume of fan mail, the palace personally replied to the young girl. An 18-month-old baby girl is in a desperate race against time to find a life-saving bone marrow donor. Elaiya Hameed, 18 months old, has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, cancer of the white blood cells, and urgently needs a stem cell transplant. Sadly, there is no matching donor on the register so her parents Muzahir and Summan are doing everything they can to raise awareness and urge people to get themselves on the register. The parents are particularly trying to raise awareness among the Pakistani and South Asian community because Elaiya is more likely to find a successful match from someone of the same ethnic origin.
