6 Luxury Villas In St. Barts That Will Take Your Breath Away
HOME » LIFESTYLE » 6 Luxury Villas In St. Barts That Will Take Your Breath Away When we think of the best vacation spots in the world, most people cycle between popular coastal vacation areas. That said, those places are deserving of recognition as they have proven to stand the test of time as tourists hot spots. However, what this results in is an overcrowded and simple vacation experience due to the high number of people in these locations. At the very least, it will require vacationers to go out of their way to create their own experiences that would otherwise be taken care of anywhere else. As a result, this allows other overlooked vacation spots to create some of the most unique and breathtaking experiences in the world. A great example of this can be seen with St. Barts. Formally known as Saint Barthélemy, this vacation spot stands out above the rest with its white-sandy beaches and warm weather despite being situated amongst the popular Caribbean … [Read more...] about 6 Luxury Villas In St. Barts That Will Take Your Breath Away
VANUATU – Must do day trip: Coongoola cruise from Port Vila
A Coongoola day cruise is something I recommend everyone to do if visiting Vanuatu. You’ll visit secluded beaches on Moso island, learn about turtles at the turtle sanctuary, have a BBQ on the beach, go snorkeling and see dolphins play. It’s a great day out on the water and a must do Vanuatu cruise. Do note that this day trip isn’t suitable for day trips if you’re onboard a cruise ship as the times don’t match. It’s easily added in a Vanuatu itinerary which is exactly what I did. Booking a Coongoola cruise I highly recommend booking a Coongoola day cruise in advance through their website. In low season they do not sail everyday and in high season the cruise can be fully booked. Alternatively, you can go to their office in Port Vila or have your hotel book it for you. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Port Vila and they took care of my booking. Pickup usually is around 8AM from your hotel and the 30-45-minute transfer to Havannah Harbor is included … [Read more...] about VANUATU – Must do day trip: Coongoola cruise from Port Vila
Lots to see and do in beautiful Barbados
By Samantha Feuss | October 6, 2019 at 12:32 am I’ve been obsessed with Barbados since I was a kid, when I read the Newbery Medal-winning book “The Witch of Blackbird Pond” by Elizabeth George Speare. For anyone who somehow managed to escape their summer reading, the book is about a fictional 17th century young woman who, orphaned, must leave her home in Barbados and travel to New England. Now in Puritan Connecticut, she often reminisces about her home and her childhood growing up in beautiful Barbados. Yes, as an adult, I now realize the colonizer themes that ran rampant in the book. However, the images left in my mind’s eye of the lush and balmy Barbados had impressed on me the desire to make my way over to the tiny island as soon as I was able. No better time then the present, so we headed over to finally see the nation well known as the birthplace of rum. Located in the lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of North America, just 166 … [Read more...] about Lots to see and do in beautiful Barbados
Vegan travelers have more options than ever – even Disney
Eric Brent recently went on a cruise to the Baltics with more than 800 people, and there was a twist that he couldn’t have imagined a few decades ago: It was a “fully vegan” cruise ship. “There’s all different companies doing this now,” said Brent, founder of HappyCow, an app and website that lists vegan dining options in 180 countries. “It is becoming more popular.” Last year, tour company Intrepid Travel introduced “vegan food adventures” to India, Italy and Thailand. This year, cruise lines including Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced new plant-based menus with more than 200 options to choose from. Royal Caribbean International added a vegan menu in the summer. Providence, R.I., opened a new vegan food hall called Plant City in June that has become a tourist destination. And, of course, Burger King took the plant-based patty to the masses when it said it would roll out the Impossible Whopper across the … [Read more...] about Vegan travelers have more options than ever – even Disney
