ANTONIO CONTE was finally put out of his misery after leaving Tottenham late last night. The Italian boss, 53, launched an astonishing attack on his ‘selfish’ Spurs flops and the club’s ‘20 years’ of underachieving in a ten-minute rant after the 3-3 draw at Southampton nine days ago. And Tottenham , fourth in the Premier League, announced at 10.20pm that they had parted company with Conte by ‘mutual agreement’ after 16 months in charge. Chairman Daniel Levy has put Conte’s right-man Cristian Stellini in caretaker charge until the end of the season. Levy said: “We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place. “We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters.” READ MORE TOTTENHAM NEWS REAL PROBLEMS Spurs under pressure over Nagelsmann with Real Madrid approaching him before … [Read more...] about Tottenham finally part company with Antonio Conte as Levy makes no mention of Italian and snubs Mason for interim role
