A mother has warned parents their kids could be in grave danger after a popular toy scorched her tot's seat. Elise Howle, 28, returned from the Co-Op with her 11-month-old daughter Evie to discover her car filled with smoke. She frantically searched the motor before discovering the car seat her child had been sitting in minutes earlier was smouldering and seared with burn holes. Elise said: "If that had happened when we were stuck in traffic, or even minutes before Evie would have been burned. "It doesn't bear thinking about." The mum - who had parked her car in the baking sun - realised the burns had been caused by an £8.99 baby mirror. The mirror fits on to a headrest, allowing parents to see their rear-facing child while on the move. Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a dad who was stabbed to death at a birthday party. Wayne Phillips, 58, from West Hampstead, London, was stabbed in the heart shortly after midnight in a pub . The tragedy took place at the Star and Scorpion pub in Ealing, west London, on Saturday July 23, reports My London . E mergency services immediately rushed to the scene at 11.55pm but the dad was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation was launched on the night of the incident by the Metropolitan Police , and a post-mortem examination found the cause of death to have been blood loss from the stab wound. A brown bear cub is believed to have become intoxicated after indulging in a significant amount of "mad honey". Rescued in northwestern Turkey’s Duzce province on Thursday (August 11), the female bear appeared to be wobbling and whining in footage taken as people had rescued her from the forest. The mad honey that the bear had consumed, or “deli bal” in Turkish, is produced in small quantities by beekeepers in the Kaçkar mountains above the Black Sea.
