MANILA, Philippines — As he sponsored a tweaked version of the controversial Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bill at the Senate plenary, Senator Mark Villar on Monday made a firm promise that all of the documents related to the fund will be “open, available and accessible to the public” in the spirit of transparency. He cited the lack of manpower as the biggest struggle when it came to opening and managing a restaurant. "I'm sorry to say this, but locals don't want to work in our line," Chef Bob said. Hiring and retaining staff was such a big issue that he and his wife would end up "always running" around the 100-seater restaurant trying to complete tasks.
