McDonald’s warning as drivers face £200 fine & 6 points on their licence for common mistake at drive-thru
MCDONALD's customers are being warned over a common drive-thru mistake which carries a penalty of a £200 fine and six licence points. The former DJ has been embroiled in bullying and sexual misconduct allegations, which he denies, with six complaints being received by the corporation about the claims. One complaint of the six was referred to the police at the time, though the BBC said in a statement: “This is a historic case that the BBC has found in its files. We are establishing the facts around it. "It did not relate to conduct at the BBC, BBC premises, or conduct towards a BBC staff member, nor was it an accusation of physical assault." They declined to say whether the other five complaints were received before director general Tim Davie said that “no evidence of complaints” were found. It comes after BBC News and the Guardian published claims of predatory sexual behaviour. Westwood, meanwhile, has denied all allegations, with a spokesperson stating: “Our client confirms that there has never … [Read more...] about BBC says they received complaints against DJ Tim Westwood and one was referred to police
