More northern parts of the country may expect snow showers and icy conditions, the Met Office has predicted. Trending Large swathes of Britain are covered by a rain warning, with commuters expecting major delays and disruptions as spray and flooding on roads cause chaos. Some areas could see over 100mm of rain, while downpours of 40-70mm are expected “quite widely”. The rain will be coupled with generally windy conditions, the Met Office predicted.
