Theos First Time Swimming at Raithwaite Estate
When we'd finished in the restaurant Theo for a walk in the pram around the extensive grounds, whilst I got to enjoy a 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage in the spa. 'Mum life' has given me such an achey back so I was so looking forward to switching off and releasing some tension in my back. My therapist was fantastic and really personalised the massage to me. She focused on getting the knots out of my shoulders so by the end of I really felt as if she'd helped my back. Let me start out by saying that the club had a chess theme. As in the dance floor was a black and white chess set lined with 10-foot tall pawns, knights and castles, all illuminated by neon green lights. Tiree surfer Ben Larg rides 30-foot wave in Ireland
The reigning under-18 Scottish Surfing Champion, Larg has already represented Scotland in international contests in the Azores, Japan and Portugal but recently set his sights on surfing big waves in Ireland. He spent much of the last month training there with big wave specialists Peter Conroy and Ollie O’Flaherty, and after several failed attempts due to weather to surf another spot called Aileen’s, which breaks beneath the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, Larg took a trip to witness the even bigger waves at Mullaghmore.
