Photo: Archant Library Archant Suffolk serial killer Steve Wright has been linked to the murder of another woman in the county by a former police officer. Jeanette KemptonWright, now 60, was jailed for life in 2008 for the murder of five prostitutes in Ipswich in late 2006.They were strangled and their bodies dumped.But since his prosecution, cold case detectives have explored his links to other unsolved murders of women in similar circumstances.Now former Norfolk police intelligence officer Chris Clark, who investigates cold cases, has linked Wright to the murder of a young mum called Jeanette Kempton 30 years ago. Photo: Archant Library Archant The ex-detective in charge of investigating cold cases hopes to review all forensic evidence in a push to find the killer of a young mother 30 years on. Jeanette Kempton’s body was found dumped in a ditch in a field near Wangford on February 18 1989.The mother-of-two, from Brixton, had last been seen 16 days earlier leaving her local pub 120 miles away in south London, The Loughborough Hotel.This newspaper is currently exploring the case in a podcast called Unfinished.
