There are no signs of passenger activity slowing down at Hollywood Burbank Airport as the numbers continued to climb in July, jumping by about 19%.The airport saw 541,942 passengers in July, 86,362 more than the same month last year, said Nerissa Sugars, Hollywood Burbank‘s manager of air service development, during a meeting of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority on Sept. 23.Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at Hollywood Burbank, had 355,089 passengers in July, a hike of 34,069 passengers over last year.American Airlines also had significant growth as it reported 33,119 passengers, an increase of 17,975 compared with the same month last year. A Vietnamese feature film about a love that stays alive through centuries will be released in American cinemas this December. "Nhan Duyen: Nguoi Yeu Tien Kiep", unofficially translated as "Predestined: Lover From A Past Life" is directed by Luk Van. It tells the story of a man who decided to become a spirit to follow and protect his lover for centuries, until present days. The movie will be screened in cinemas in Westminster, Garden Grove, San Jose, Los Angeles and San Francisco. According to Quynh Chi, producer of the movie, her team has worked with several partners in California and signed a co-operation agreement with a distributor to take the film to international audiences. The thing about British serial killers in the movies is that they're so terribly polite. Watching "Sightseers," a low-budget lark about a homicidal couple touring the backcountry, one is reminded of Alec Guinness drolly dispatching his relatives in "Kind Hearts and Coronets" (1949) or poor, sweet Michael Palin forever murdering the wrong dog in "A Fish Called Wanda" (1988).
