A HEARTBROKEN widow is sharing photos of her late wife in order to warn others of the dangers of vaping. Eight years ago, Amanda Lee Hall would puff on half a pack of cigarettes a day. But in 2014, she decided to switch to e-cigarettes to be 'healthier'. The 44-year-old would use the device so often that her wife Kristen Hensley would say there was a 'fruity cloud' wherever she went. In autumn 2019, less than five years after she started vaping , the warehouse worker became unwell. IF there's one thing we can all be certain of, it's that at some point we will die. And for most people, the mere prospect of death is a scary one. But now, people who've suffered near death experiences 'NDEs' , have revealed what it's really like to 'die', and why it should put your mind at rest for when your turn comes around. A study published by researchers at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in the US, looked at people who had survived cardiac arrests . The medics found that commonly, those who had NDEs said they would have "unique lucid experiences". The survivors said these ranged from a feeling of being separated from the body to being able to observe ongoing events without feeling any distress. A BABY boy died from a "catastrophic" brain injury after a van hit his pram in a horror smash that also seriously injured his mum, an inquest heard. Louis Thorold was being pushed on the pavement by mum Rachael when two vehicles collided in the road. The crash caused a van to veer into Louis' pram - killing the five-month-old. His mum Rachael was left with life-changing injuries and spent more than 100 days in hospital after the horror in Cambridge in January 2021. Shelagh Robertson, 75, was previously cleared of causing death by careless driving by reason of insanity due to her undiagnosed dementia. A pre-inquest review heard today how an initial hospital referral suggested Louis died from a catastrophic brain injury, Cambs Times reports. A teen boxer dubbed a "future world champion" who had represented Team England has died suddenly, aged 19. The family of Jude Moore, from Bristol, confirmed the "uniquely talented fighter", from one of the UK's most deprived neighbourhoods, was tragically found dead on Friday. Jude, a two-time National Champion who was due to fight in Milan this week, had represented the Three Lions at the EUBC Junior European Championships in Romania in 2017. Rodcir Maraviles, a resident of Barangay Libertad, Ormoc City, reportedly drew and fired his gun at the policemen, prompting the latter to retaliate, according to a report from the regional headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP) based in Palo town, Leyte. Seized during the operation were illegal drugs worth P30,000. Operatives of the regional drug enforcement unit, together with the local police of Merida, conducted an operation against the suspect in Barangay Poblacion, Merida town, at about 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Person dies after being pulled from river running through public park by firefighters
A person has been pronounced dead after being pulled from a river in a park yesterday. Emergency services were called to Keynsham Memorial Park in Bristol , Somerset, on January 3 at around mid-day to rescue the person from the water. Avon and Somerset Police attended to the scene following reports that a member of the public had seen someone in the water at the park. Tragically, the ambulance service pronounced them dead at the scene. A spokesperson for the police force has said that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
