Valuable things you need to know before visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I never used to be a fan of Harry Potter. It wasn’t for any good reason; I just wasn’t into it. When the books and the movies were first released, I was almost at the end of high school. I suppose I thought that it was meant for little kids or I was a little too cool for all of it. My younger sister was obsessed with everything relating to Harry Potter, and I didn’t want any part of it. As some of you might know, Justin is younger than me. He grew up watching the movies and reading the books. So, he was completely shocked to find that I was clueless about Harry Potter. Justin urged me to start watching the movies with him, and I decided to give it a try. Of course, after the first movie, I was absolutely hooked. We quickly binge watched the rest of the movies, one after another. Naturally, the next step was to plan our visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal … [Read more...] about Wizarding World of Harry Potter Universal Orlando: Magical Tips to Know Before You Go
On the 88th day since Jayme Closs disappeared from her Wisconsin home, the 13-year-old escaped from captivity and was found safe. “It’s amazing, the will of that 13-year-old girl to survive and escape,” said Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald on Friday morning. “And that comes from the hope and the prayers and this community.” Jayme was abducted after her parents were killed in their home near Barron, Wis., on Oct. 15. Authorities do not think the 21-year-old suspect had any contact with the Closs family — “we do believe Jayme was the only target,” Fitzgerald said. The suspect “planned his actions and took many proactive steps to hide his identity from law enforcement and the general public,” the sheriff continued. A massive search has been underway for the teen. On Thursday, Jayme was located in Wisconsin, about 60 miles north of her hometown, and a suspect was arrested. She was hospitalized … [Read more...] about Jayme Closs found: What we know now

Plymouth’s superintendent of schools, Gary Maestas, allowed himself a short laugh. He was thinking about the real-time vape detectors he’s planning to install in the town’s high school bathrooms, and how the students don’t yet know. “They’ll find out soon enough,” Maestas said. Ha ha ha. But the kids — they’re not the ones Maestas is laughing at. The children are the ones he’s trying to protect — from a multibillion-dollar vaping and e-cigarette industry that has lured millions of teenagers with sexy branding and child-friendly flavors, and along the way, turned school bathrooms into ground zero of the vaping wars. Last fall, school systems across Massachusetts sent dire warnings home to parents who had never even heard of vaping, even as their … [Read more...] about Everybody knows that vapin’ ain’t allowed in school.
Deep in the belly of the tiny 7,083-capacity Ipurua stadium, Ramos said his side's attitude had been off, their intensity lacking. "When you don't match your opponent, you become a vulgar team," he said. It was not the result Real wanted before they travel to Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday, when the winner is likely to go through top of Group G. Then Ramos moved onto the anti-doping allegations published on Friday by German magazine Der Spiegel. The most damaging among them claimed Ramos tested positive for dexamethasone after the 2017 Champions League final and failed to declare it, as is required according to World Anti-Doping Authority regulations. Responding for the first time, Ramos said: "You can tell a lie many times over but it is still a lie." He added: "These types of people try to stain my reputation and my professional career." The issue may have been exceptional but the … [Read more...] about Ramos in spotlight again but Madrid need him more than ever
