A Met Police officer charged with 21 counts of rape as well as facing accusations of sexual assault and coercive behaviour appeared in court today. David Carrick faces a total of 44 charges involving 11 alleged victims that includes rape, coercive and controlling behaviour and sexual assault spanning 2003 to 2020. The 47-year-old appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court today and only spoke to confirm his name and age. Carrick faces three charges of rape in Stevenage between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2009. Chief magistrate Paul Goldspring remanded Carrick in custody until May 27 when he will appear at St Albans Crown Court on all 44 charges. A motorist has been branded a "complete idiot" after their baffling parking effort blocked off the door to a house. Police officers were snapped attempting to find out who the car belonged to in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. A Facebook post blasted the "terrible" parking last weekend, Yorkshire Live reports . Judging by the photo, the car is parked outside Harwood House in West Street. The building, in the centre of the old town, was previously a care home before being converted to flats.
