A manager of the airport said 91,000 of those passengers flew into Ho Chi Chi Minh City from elsewhere, including 71,000 on domestic flights. Around 58,000 passengers departed from HCMC, including more than 39,000 on domestic flights. Friday's traffic broke the record set the previous day, the last day of the Tet break, which was 145,000.
