Sez Me … Rob Gronkowski is finished. But, in many minds, he isn’t, or hasn’t finished enough of his work. He’s finished prematurely, for sure, at 30 years of age, 115 games and two full seasons out of nine, which must weigh heavily in this best-of-all-time and Hall of Fame conversation — grub for great water cooler chatter which cannot be ended with any certainty. The estimable Patriots tight end/party goer/wannabe wrestler and matinee idol, has retired. Maybe. Probably. Sinatra and Ali made new livings off retirements. Nixon said he wasn’t going to get kicked around anymore. Athletes and politicians, more than people in any profession, have the most difficulty finding the direction of the sunset and riding off into it. There are those far closer to this situation than I who believe Gronk will awake hungover one afternoon, run his tongue over his cotton mouth and say he’s not ready to get out. But I don’t think so. This guy is different. … [Read more...] about Column: Only nine years of Gronkowski, but his greatness enough for Hall of Fame
Rob gronkowski wife
Rob Gronkowski set aside the Gronk spikes for a little Gronk flow in Miami Beach over the weekend. Omar Kelly, an NFL columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, tweeted on Sunday that his wife, Marilyn Eustache, took a hot yoga class with the Patriots tight end on Saturday. “So my wife goes to a hot yoga class on Saturday and she tells me that some football player was in the class,” Kelly wrote. “She says he was super stiff, but worked hard to get it right. I was like…. you remember his name? She was like NO, but I have a picture.” Kelly told Boston.com in an email that despite his job covering the NFL, Eustache “doesn’t know anything” about football, and therefore didn’t realize she was chatting with a Dolphins rival while at Maham Yoga Studio in Miami Beach’s South Beach neighborhood. “They were positioned next to one another and talked crap all class about how the instructor was so hard and was trying to kill … [Read more...] about Rob Gronkowski got loose at a yoga class in Miami Beach over the weekend

ATLANTA — The red, white, and blue confetti raining down at Mercedes Benz Stadium marked just the beginning of the victory celebration for the Patriots Sunday evening. After soaking in the special moment on the field with family and friends immediately following their 13-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams, the Super Bowl LIII champions brought the festivities to the team hotel, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, where owner Robert Kraft had quite the lineup awaiting them. Nashville country-rock band Old Dominion kicked things off for the early arrivals — none of which were players — while guests nibbled on a variety of small bites like sushi, chicken wings, and presumably TB12-approved “sweet potato and kale salad, roasted peppers in a cup.” As more and more revelers began to flood the space, which was decked out with six Lombardi Trophy banners, Kraft took a few minutes to address the masses. “How about that stadium tonight?” he said. “We had a … [Read more...] about Inside the Patriots’ postgame party, where the celebration rolled past 4 a.m.
