Cheryl Cole brags about beating Simon Cowell to Best TV Judge award
She may have been axed from the US X Factor after one episode, but that hasn’t stopped Cheryl Cole from winning a telly award for her work on the show. The Geordie was crowned Best TV Judge at the Virgin Media TV Awards, which was voted for by the public. Not only did she beat Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Michael McIntyre, but Cheryl pushed best mate turned arch rival Simon Cowell into second place. After being told that she’d won the award, Cheryl logged straight onto Twitter and started bragging about it to her former partner in crime. Joking about her short stint on the US X Factor (thanks to Cowell), Cheryl tweeted: ‘“Oh my!” And all in a couple days work.’ Linking to the awards just to make sure that Simon could see that she’d beaten him, Cheryl added: ‘LOVE this @SimonCowell’.
