“Dangerous” Hakimi brace gives Dortmund win at Slavia Prague
Hakimi scored twice to fire Dortmund to victory. (AFP/Michal CIZEK) With 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Hakimi - on loan from Real Madrid - sprinted down the right flank, wove his way through the Slavia defence into the box, fooled 'keeper Ondrej Kolar and blasted home left-footed. A minute before the final whistle, the 20-year-old Moroccan struck following another strong run and clinical finish with a low shot across goal to end Slavia's 24-game unbeaten streak in competitive games. "He played very well although he's not used to the position," Dortmund coach Lucien Favre said of Hakimi, who is a right-back by trade but started on the left wing. "He is very dangerous up front and we are happy with his performance, the two goals say it all. As Vietnam’s middle class expands, dog meat consumption shrinks
In all his 52 years, Tuan had never thought a day would come when he would consider closing his dog meat restaurant in Long Bien district, Hanoi. For the last several years, sales have dropped. From selling up to 20 dogs per day several years ago, Tuan only sells three. Most importantly, his children hate his job. "My wife and I have run this for years, I don’t know why people are giving up dog meat now, we have been eating it for a long time," Tuan said. The restaurant has been running for more than 20 years and has been the family’s breadwinner. Tuan does not know what he would do if has to close it. One of them is an increase in pet ownership that has followed a rise in incomes and living standards. The Ministry of Transport has ordered Hanoi to shut down selfie hotspots and makeshift coffee shops along its famous train street as a safety measure. City authorities have been told to take urgent measures to remove street vendors and illegal businesses that have sprung up along both sides of the Hanoi Train Street, as tracks that run alongside the Le Duan Street are referred to. The highly unusual sight of a train running several hundred meters on tracks that are crowded closely on both sides by residents’ houses draws thousands of amazed tourists from within and outside the country every year. In recent years, cafes have opened up along the tracks to serve the tourists who can sit and enjoy their drinks just inches from the railway tracks. They can choose to … [Read more...] about Hanoi told to close coffee shops on ‘train street’
