LOVE Island will be EXTENDED tonight to squeeze in all the drama from the fallout of the shock recoupling. The bumper episode will include a double dumping after the public voted for their least favourite or "compatible" couples. Love Island will air for an extra five minutes as viewers see the villa's reaction to not one but two stars going home. Through a series of texts it was revealed that Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri, Charlie Radnedge and Antigoni Buxton and Jay Younger and Danica Taylor were the three least popular couples - leaving them vulnerable for dumping. And in a glimpse of what's to come in tonight's episode, viewers were told by Iain Stirling - who voices the show - "the wait is over, Casa Amor is coming". Love Island fan theory accuses producers of ‘fixing’ results of tonight’s elimination – and here’s why
LOVE Island viewers have accused producers of "fixing" the result of tonight's elimination by getting the Islanders to choose. Furious fans flooded Twitter to theorise that producers were left disappointed by the public vote as Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were placed in the bottom three couples. Love Island viewers were asked to vote for who they felt was the most compatible couple after the episode that aired on Wednesday night. It was later revealed that the three couples at the bottom of the leaderboard would risk being DUMPED from the villa. However, instead of sending home the least voted for couple, it was announced that the Islanders would choose who to send. Now, fans have speculated it was a move made by producers to protect Tasha, 24 , and Andrew, 27 , from elimination. Five signs Meghan Markle is eyeing political career – ‘copying Obamas’ to election outburst that ‘broke royal protocol’
SHE’S been an actor and a princess - and increasingly Meghan Markle is making waves as a political activist too. The Duchess of Sussex has joined forces with Gloria Steinem to get the Equal Rights Amendment ratified, and insisted she’s willing to march in Washington DC against the Roe v Wade abortion ruling. In an interview with Vogue, Meghan urged men to be “more vocal” with their anger at the Supreme Court’s decision to ban or put strict rules on abortions in 30 American states. Revealing her and Harry ’s reaction to the news was “guttural,” she said: “My husband and I talked about that a lot over the past few days. He's a feminist too. “We have to channel that fear into action. We can start this November in the midterms. We have to vote, every time.” But this isn’t the first time Meghan has shown signs of wanting to make a move into politics. GPs threaten to strike over plans to make them work Saturdays and evenings
GPs have threatened industrial action over plans to make them work Saturdays and evenings. Family doctors vowed to act if an NHS contract with the conditions is not axed. British Medical Association members say it is unworkable as it requires GPs to work in groups of practices called Primary Care Networks. They claim PCNs are inflexible and bureaucratic and that money for the scheme should form part of the GP contract. There were cheers at the BMA’s annual meeting in Brighton yesterday after 57 per cent of members agreed to “organise opposition”, including industrial action, if the contract remains. Proposing the motion to axe it, London GP Dr Jacqueline Applebee, said: “The new contracts have already effectively been imposed. How much more can we take?” Read more on GPs GP WON'T SEE YOU NOW Nearly 20,000 GPs 'could leave the profession' in next five years DOC ATTACK SPIKE Violent attacks on GPs have DOUBLED in … [Read more...] about GPs threaten to strike over plans to make them work Saturdays and evenings
How US could lose war with China in a WEEK as every ‘simulation’ shows it being crushed over Taiwan
AMERICA faces defeat by China in a war over Taiwan in just a week and needs to “urgently” up its preparations, a leading expert has said. The chilling warning from Oriana Skylar Mastro, an authority on China’s military and US Air Force strategist, comes after years of simulations showing crushing defeats for America. China regards Taiwan as part of its territory and has vowed unification with the mainland, by force if necessary, while Joe Biden recently promised the US will defend the island. Taiwan is effectively an independent country, though not recognised by the internationally, but any moves towards full independence will almost certainly lead to war. Should that happen, Skylar Mastro outlined what she called “a worst case scenario and the one that’s hardest for the United States to deal with”. And down the years simulations have shown the US facing defeat in a war with China - with some war games showing Beijing "running rings" around them. Sleaze scandals are a problem that all parties have to tackle
WHAT a very predictable scandal the Chris Pincher row is. Predictable to those who already knew that the former Conservative Deputy Chief Whip had been behaving improperly and yet gave him the job anyway. Predictable for the campaigners in Westminster who have been dismayed by the continuing string of revelations in the Tory Party and elsewhere. And predictable because it has prompted the same tired circus of debate. The Tories cannot deny they have a problem in their ranks: the list of names of MPs who have resigned after behaviour far worse than Pincher’s is far too long. But this is not just a Conservative problem. It’s Westminster’s — and anyone who claims otherwise is making it harder to change things.
